Summer is pink

So today im posting my most recent creation, very pinkish. This is brass with 2 pink zircons. I liked how the golden color of the brass matched the bright pink stones, so went for the golden finish instead of silver plating it.. very fresh and summery, specially if you are lucky enough to have a tan :)

Nuevo anillo de latón con 2 zirconitas rosas. Ideal para el verano, sobretodo si tienes la suerte de estar morena. En este caso dejé el anillo en color dorado en lugar de bañarlo en plata, ya que el color natural del latón contrastaba mejor con las piedras rosas, por lo que no hizo falta el baño de plata.

I am in L*O*V*E with my new Bow Ring!

Hello! I am so happy to introduce you to my new bow ring, which I am definitely in love with. 

It took me some days to come up with this idea but I finally started working on it and I am so happy with the final result. I hope you like it as much as I do! I leave you a few pictures of the process :)

Os presento mi nuevo anillo de lazo, uno de mis favoritos. Estuve unos días dando vueltas a algun diseño original de anillo con forma de lacito y finalmente caí en este diseño tan simple pero original. Espero que os guste igual que a mi, os dejo un par de fotos del proceso! :)

I did it with the "lost wax" or "investment cast" technique, which is very interesting and fun. It allows you to create anything you want in wax (like in the picture below) and then turn it into any type of metal you like (silver, gold, brass...). 

Hecho con hilo de cera y mediante la técnica "cera perdida", obtuve este anillo de plata que os presento. La técnica de la cera perdida es muy interesante ya que te permite crear cualquier pieza que quieras, moldearla a tu gusto y finalmente transformarla en cualquier tipo de metal que quieras (plata, oro, latón...). En este caso, hice un anillo en forma de lazo. Espero que os guste! :)

For this ring, I first created the wax model, then took it to the cast and finally obtained the same shape in silver. Hope you like it! :)

Para este anillo, realicé el anillo primero en cera, lo llevé a la fundición y finalmente obtuve el mismo molde en plata. Espero que os guste! :)
